Photo gallery for Kindle Compatibility with OverDrive Now Available

C/W MARS is pleased to announce that Kindle compatibility is finally here. If you own an Amazon Kindle, you may now enjoy checking out ebooks from the C/W MARS Digital Catalog. 

Browsing, searching and checkout of ebooks will remain essentially the same. Patrons will need to login with their library card number to complete checkout. If the Kindle format is chosen for checkout, patrons will see a "Get for Kindle" link. This will take patrons to the Amazon website, and an Amazon account login will be required. There, patrons will choose which Kindle device or free Kindle app to deliver the title for reading. 

Important notes for Kindle format library lending:

• As with other titles from the C/W MARS digital collection, ebooks will expire at the end of the lending period.
• Wireless download to the Kindle is available through wifi connection only. It will NOT be delivered through 3G.
• Patrons who may have Kindles without wireless connection can use their USB cable to transfer the title from their computer to the device.
